![]() But the fact remains that this adventure is one that could have used a bit more refinement. " If you can muster the strength to get past its janky gameplay, there's a whole lot to love here in the world and characters. Reviews for We Happy Few are mixed, but anyone who loved BioShock for its unique setting will undoubtedly enjoy what this twisted game has to offer. The map of Wellington Wells is also procedurally generated, meaning there's nearly limitless replayability for those who enjoy what it has to offer. The story jumps between three different characters, giving you multiple viewpoints of its trippy world and offering a variety of ways to play. But it came off as alot of good ideas but a weak execution of it. ![]() Its not a terrible game imo infact its pretty good. I have played deus ex before and tbh I didnt like it very much. Your goal is to escape this world and its rulers - either by fighting back or blending in with all the other "happy" citizens. If you played system shock 2 I would reccomend you play the STALKER series as the STALKER games are essentially system shock 2. We Happy Few throws you into an alternate version 1960 England, with its citizens wholly consumed by a slew of intoxicating drugs. So I am open to suggestions no matter how old the game might be.Best for: Exploring an unsettling world with memorable characters I am thinking about Strife right now, because it has a similar FPS/RPG approach. Now I think that Desu Ex Human Revolution is almost a walking simulator compared to the richness of System Shock.Īnd of course: I have played Deus Ex, Deus Ex:HR, System Shock 2, Bioshock already. SS is not easy and I was stuck A LOT but with patience and some logic I was always able to find solutions. I mean amazing atmosphere, good gameplay (I like the hub in SS a lot) and good puzzles. So I want to know if there are other games similar to System Shock and I don't care if they are old. So I am lucky that I am not bothered by old graphics, if they are put in use effectively: Yes, SS is old and has dated graphics, but the graphics are still amazing, because they work around the limitations very well. I might even like it more than System Shock 2 and I loved that too.
